THE HEAD OF STATE VISITED “STATE TECHNICAL SERVICE” JSC
During the visit, President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed on the status and measures to ensure information security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Head of State was shown the process and results of the National Coordination Centre for Information Security, the Telecommunications Network Management Centre, the National Computer Incident Response Service and the Malicious Code Research Centre.
It was reported that 163.4 million cyberattacks on the resources of state bodies and critical facilities were repelled during 9 months of the current year.
Kasym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of developing mechanisms to ensure the stable functioning of the country’s information infrastructure and the reflection of any security threats in this area.
The Head of State gave a number of specific instructions on how to improve these activities.
